A note from AVPro Global CEO:
Greetings from South Dakota and Happy June! This is one of my favorite times of the year in the Dakotas – gardens are going in and the farmers are planting their crops. It’s also InfoComm month, we’ll be showing some great new products and some solid alternatives to HDMI over IP so be sure and check out our InfoComm preview and visit us at BOOTH 1875. We'll cover a hot new video wall processor and our new HDBaseT wall plate collection with some advanced features we know you will love. On the Residential side of the business we’ll discuss AVRs and how to keep your 18Gbps video running through (or around) them. Enjoy the June AVPro News and be sure and visit our team at InfoComm.

AVPro Edge Gears Up for InfoComm 2019: What to Expect

HDBaseT has helped the evolution of connectivity by increasing the maximum distance of HDMI by using everyday Category cable. But are you doing everything to provide yourself the cleanest, most stable signal you can achieve? To begin, start with a nice shielded, solid core 500MHz cable. We recommend Cat 6a as it meets HDBaseT specifications and allows you to reach maximum distance with the least amount of bit errors. Then, terminate the ends of your category with standard shielded ends that are not pull through or easy ends. Pull through ends can cause a variety of issues including shortages from inconsistencies in the pin connections. Taking these precautions helps ensure the Gold Standard for HDBaseT in every Category run.
