AVPro Global has developed a warranty that anyone can get behind. We really wanted to take all the "red tape" out of a warranty and just make it simple. 

  1. If you are having trouble, call us. We will attempt to troubleshoot your issue over the phone.
  2. If it's broken - we'll repair it or replace it in advance on our dime. We'll cover return shipping, too.
  3. We trust you. We know you know what you are doing. We will not make you go through unnecessary steps to troubleshoot.

Purchases made from Authorized AVPro Global Resellers or direct purchases are covered under our warranties. Products are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects and of sound physical and electronic condition.

AVPro Edge

Coverage Details
AVPro Edge will replace or repair (at customer choice) the defective product. If the product is out of stock or on back order it can either be replaced with a comparable product of equal value/feature set (if available) or repair.

Your warranty begins at receipt of product (as confirmed by shipping firm tracking). If tracking information is unavailable for any reason, the warranty will commence 30 ARO (After Receipt of Order). The coverage continues for 10 YEARS.

Red Tape
  • AVPro Edge is not responsible for untraceable purchases or those that were made outside of an authorized channel.
  • If we conclude that a product or serial number has been tampered with as identified by warranty seal or physical examination the warranty will be void. Additionally, excessive physical damage (beyond normal wear & tear) the warranty may be voided or pro-rated based on the extent of the damage as examined by an AVPro Edge representative.
  • Damage caused by “acts of God” are not covered. They can include natural disasters, power surges, storms, earthquakes, tornadoes, sink holes, typhoons, tidal waves, hurricanes, or any other uncontrollable event related to nature.
  • Damage caused by incorrect installation will not be covered. Incorrect power supply, inadequate cooling, improper cabling, inadequate protection, static discharge are examples of this.
  • Products installed or sold by a third party to AVPro Edge will be serviced by the Authorized AVPro Edge Reseller.
  • Accessories (IR Cables, RS-232, Power Supplies, etc…) are not included in the warranty. We will make acceptable effort to source and supply replacements for defective accessories at a discounted rate as needed.

Obtaining an RMA
Dealers, Re-sellers, and Installers can request an RMA AVPro Edge Tech Support Rep or their Sales Engineer. Or you may email support@avproedge.com or fill out the general contact form at www.avproedge.com

End users may not request and RMA directly from AVPro Edge and will be referred back to the Dealer, Re-seller or Installer.

Shipping
For USA (not including Alaska and Hawaii). Shipping is covered on advanced replacements for FedEx Ground (some expressed exceptions may apply). Defective product return shipping is covered by AVPro Edge using an emailed return label. Item must be returned within 30 days of receipt of replacement product, after 30 days, the customer will be billed. Other return shipping methods will not be covered.

For International (and Alaska and Hawaii) return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the returnee. Once the unit is scanned for return shipping AVPro Edge will ship new unit for replacement. ​

Legal
Limitation on Liability
The maximum liability of AVPro Global Holdings LLC under this limited warranty shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid for the product. AVPro Global Holdings LLC is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Taxes, Duties, VAT, and freight forwarding service charges are not covered or paid for by this warranty.
Obsolescence or incompatibility with newly invented technologies (after manufacture of product) is not covered by this warranty.
Obsolescence is defined as:

“Peripherals are rendered obsolete when current technology does not support product repair or re-manufacture. Obsolete products cannot be remanufactured because advanced technologies supersede original product manufacturer capabilities. Because of performance, price and functionality issues, product redevelopment is not an option.”

Discontinued or out of production items will be credited at fair market value towards a current product of equal or comparable capabilities and cost. Fair market value is determined by AVPro Edge.

Exclusive Remedy
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this limited warranty and the remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AVPro Global Holdings LLC specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. If AVPro GLobal Holdings LLC cannot lawfully disclaim or exclude implied warranties under applicable law, then all implied warranties covering this product, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply to this product as provided under applicable law.

This warranty supersedes all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied.

AudioControl Pro

The purchase date on sales documentation from an authorized AudioControl reseller establishes a five-year, non-transferrable warranty for parts and labor on circuitry for the corresponding serial-numbered unit. Please make sure the reseller notes the serial number/s on the sales documentation. Out-of-the-box cosmetic damage will not be covered under the extended warranty unless properly documented. 

The AudioControl warranty is applicable only within the country to which the product was originally shipped and through the authorized AudioControl distributor for that country. There may be restrictions or changes to the AudioControl warranty due to regulations within a specific country. Please check with your distributor for a complete understanding of the warranty in your country or territory.
There are no warranties which exceed beyond those described in this document.

When a party outside of the network of authorized AudioControl dealers and distributors sells an AudioControl product, AudioControl will not honor the warranties for such products. 


Technical Support
Before requesting a warranty repair authorization, please make every effort to call AudioControl Tech Support at 425-775-8461 from the installation site where the product in question does not seem to be operating properly. AudioControl Tech Support must be given the opportunity to diagnose the issue as described in the product’s operational environment with your onsite input and participation.

ONLY AudioControl Tech Support is authorized to issue a Return. NO RETURN WILL BE AUTHORIZED without an AudioControl Technical Support advisor’s ticketed designation and documentation that the problem was properly diagnosed from on-site.
DO NOT send in a unit without an RA number.
 
If the unit has been pulled from the site, the opportunity for diagnosis will extend to your facility if a dealer (for end-users, do not disconnect the product or remove it from the installation). The unit must be powered on and connected to any associated gear that will contribute to confirming the reported issue. 
If a unit does not power on, fuse integrity must be verified. Replace fuses with the identical type, or use a meter to test the fuse/s for failure.    
If the above measures are bypassed, and it is insisted the unit be returned, should no problem be found, a bench diagnosis fee of $250 will be incurred, plus the return shipping charges. These charges must be paid in full prior to the unit being shipped. 
Ship the unit in its original AudioControl carrier-rated carton with the original internal support packaging designed to cradle the unit to absorb normal transit impacts. If this is not possible and an alternate means of packaging is used, you will be liable for any damage incurred during transit. Such damage will not be covered under this warranty.
C.O.D. shipments will be refused.   

Repair and Exhange
Within the warranty timeframe, AudioControl will determine if a repair or exchange is necessary upon inspection of your returned unit. For out-of-warranty products, please give AudioControl Tech Support a call to explore further options. 

If AudioControl decides to exchange a unit, the balance of the original warranty will apply to the exchanged unit as if it was repaired. An exchanged unit, while new and unused, will not have a new, full five-year warranty. 

Warranty Conditions
  • Please retain your sales receipt from an authorized reseller as final proof of purchase. From whom the unit was purchased and the date of the transaction must be clearly indicated. The inability to provide proof of purchase from an authorized AudioControl reseller may negate in-warranty service claims.
  • The AudioControl factory in Mountlake Terrace, WA, USA, is the only authorized service station for American sales. For territories outside the USA, inquire with the authorized reseller in the region where the product was purchased. Any attempt at service other than by AudioControl or internationally by other than an appointed authorized AudioControl service agent will void the warranty.   
  • The factory-assigned serial number must remain visible and unaltered. If intentionally defaced, the warranty is voided.
  • Units received for service will be evaluated for signs of misuse, improper installation, or mishandling. Testing points designed into circuit boards reveal exposure to overvoltage. If misuse is determined, repair under warranty may be denied, and repair charges may be incurred. Physical damage from mishandling is not covered by this warranty.    
  • An overvoltage or undervoltage occurrence causing damage to an AudioControl product will not be covered by this warranty. 
  • AudioControl does not provide replacement parts to dealers or end-users. Replacement parts are furnished only to authorized international servicing agents on an exchange basis only. All parts returned to AudioControl become AudioControl property.
  • As a means of disrupting gray-market goods exchange, AudioControl will not change the operating voltage of any product for the original purchaser until six months from the original purchase date. 
  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser only, as documented on the original receipt from an authorized AudioControl reseller. In the event the original purchaser transfers ownership of the product before the expiration of the five-year (5) warranty term, the warranty is terminated in its entirety upon the date of such transfer. 
  • This warranty is limited to actual defects to the product or its associated manufacturing and does not include removal or reinstallation costs, shipping expenses to or from AudioControl, loss of setup parameters or other adjustments, loss of use, claims of misrepresentation by the seller, or performance discrepancies related to installation circumstances such as quality of source content or AC mains power.
  • Some AudioControl amplifier models are capable of producing high amounts of output power. In turn, it is therefore implied they may draw a great amount of current from the AC mains supply. Multiple amplifiers on a single 15- or 20-amp circuit or connected to a single power management product that is connected to a single 15- or 20-amp circuit may produce conditions that do not allow the products to perform as designed. Substandard performance under these circumstances does not constitute a warrantable issue. Outstanding circumstances related to insufficient AC supply must be corrected to restore original design performance. Please see product manuals, available online, for more detailed information. Consultation with an electrical contractor is also advised.    
  • As is included in all product warranties, acts of nature do not constitute a warrantable repair. 

This is the only warranty provided by AudioControl, and it gives you specific legal rights that vary from state to state. AudioControl has no additional obligations, express or implied, beyond what is stated in this warranty.

GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS: 2 YEARS

AVPro Global Holdings (DBA MURIDEO) offers a 2 year limited warranty for its Murideo products. Any product first sold to you is guaranteed to be free from defects in both components and workmanship under regular uses. The warranty period commences on the date the item ships. Attention: Your invoice with the date of purchase, model number and serial number of the product is your proof of the date of purchase. The International Limited Warranty is applicable and shall be honored in every country where MURIDEO or its Authorized Service Providers offer warranty service subject to the terms and conditions provided in this International Limited Warranty Statement. Products included in this warranty:

During the warranty period, the defective hardware of Murideo products will be either repaired or replaced, with new or like new products, at the discretion of Murideo. This International Limited Warranty covers the costs of service parts and labor required to restore your product to fully functional condition. MURIDEO will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective products or parts thereof covered by this International Limited warranty with refurbished parts of the product that are equivalent to new or like new products in both functionality and performance. A product or part that is repaired or replaced under this International Limited Warranty shall be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period applying to the product or part, or for 90-days, whichever expires last. All exchanged parts and products under this International Limited Warranty will become the property of MURIDEO.

ThenAudio
ThenAudio Limited Product Warranty
ThenAudio warrants its products will substantially perform to their published specifications and will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, conditions and service.

Under its Limited Product Warranty, ThenAudio, at its sole discretion, will either:

  • Repair or facilitate the repair of defective products within a reasonable period of time, restore products to their proper operating condition and return defective products free of any charge for necessary parts, labor and shipping.
    OR
  • Replace and return, free of charge, any defective products with direct replacement or with similar products deemed by ThenAudio to perform substantially the same function as the original products.
    OR
  • Refund the pro-rated value based on the remaining term of the warranty period, not to exceed MSRP, in cases where products are beyond repair and/or no direct or substantially similar replacement products exist
Repair, replacement or refund of ThenAudio products is the purchaser’s exclusive remedy and ThenAudio liability does not extend to any other damages, incidental, consequential or otherwise.
 
This Limited Product Warranty extends to the original end-user purchaser of ThenAudio products and is non-transferrable to any subsequent purchaser(s) or owner(s) of these products.

Coverage periods
ThenAudio Limited Product Warranty Period begins on the date of purchase by the end-purchaser. The date contained on the end-purchaser ‘s sales or delivery receipt is the proof purchase date.

Limited Product Warranty Terms – New Products
  • 1 year from proof of purchase date for hardware/electronics product

Remedy
Please contact uto obtain an authorization (RMA) and/or case number in advance of returns.

ThenAudio requires that products returned are properly packed, preferably in the original carton, for shipping. Cartons not bearing a return authorization or case number will be refused. ThenAudio, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to reject any products received without advanced authorization.  

Exclusions
This Limited Product Warranty excludes:
  • Damage, deterioration or malfunction caused by any alteration, modification, improper use, neglect, improper packaging or shipping (such claims must be presented to the carrier), lightning, power surges, or other acts of nature.
  • Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from the installation or removal of the product from any installation, any unauthorized tampering with this product such as opening the cover, any repairs attempted by anyone unauthorized by ThenAudio to make such repairs, or any other cause which does not relate directly to a defect in materials and/or workmanship of this product.
  • Equipment enclosures, cables, power supplies, batteries, LCD displays, and any accessories used in conjunction with the product(s).
  • Products purchased from unauthorized distributors, dealers, resellers, auction websites and similar unauthorized channels of distribution.
 
Disclaimers and limitation on liability
This Limited Product Warranty does not imply that the electronic components contained within ThenAudio’s products will not become obsolete nor does it imply ThenAudio products or their electronic components will remain compatible with any other current product, technology or any future products or technologies in which ThenAudio’s products may be used in conjunction with. ThenAudio, at its sole discretion, reserves the right not to extend its warranty offering in instances arising outside its normal course of business including, but not limited to, damage inflicted to its products from acts of god.

The maximum liability of ThenAudio under this limited product warranty shall not exceed the original Thenaudio MSRP for its products. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThenAudio is not responsible for the direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory. Some countries, districts or states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of relief, special, incidental, consequential or indirect damages, or the limitation of liability to specified amounts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
