What is MXnet?
MXnet is a versatile and high-performance ecosystem of networked encoders & decoders designed for the distribution of AV content over a traditional IT network, commonly referred to as AV over IP. MXnet Switch Ecosystems
E-Series
E-Series switches provide a cost-effective 1G platform for MXnet USP, Dante/AES67, and smaller AV-over-IP systems. Select the appropriate model based on endpoint count, PoE requirements, and the amount of traffic that must pass between switches.
P-Series
P-Series switches are high-capacity 1G models designed for MXnet Evolution I and Evolution II systems, especially topologies requiring multiple switches. Higher-speed uplinks make them suitable for systems with substantial inter-switch bandwidth requirements or planned expansion.
X-Series
X-Series switches are designed for the MXnet 10G SDVoE ecosystem. Copper and fiber models are available, with high-capacity uplinks for multi-switch system designs. Select the model based on endpoint connection type, port count, PoE requirements, and the bandwidth required between switches.
