Invisible Compression Technology: ICT revolutionized HDMI extension technology implemented into HDBaseT. Bandwidth limitations with 4K signals sent through copper category 5E, 6, and 6A cabling are overcome by our proprietary algorithm. Compatible with all HDR and high-bitrate audio codec metadata, the highest quality display devices remain artifact-free when accepting ICT signals.  

Long-Range Mode – Extend your reach with the AC-EX70-444-KIT. When Long-Range Mode is enabled, the transmitter automatically downscales 4K signals to 1080p, allowing transmission distances of up to 150 meters (492 feet)—perfect for getting to those hard-to-reach displays without compromising reliability.

Downscaling: Scaling circuitry in the transmitter can step down 4K (including HDR metadata) to 1080p for legacy displays, especially useful in mixed resolution systems where native signal resolution is preserved for optimum performance system-wide.  

EDID Management: Interoperability issues between displays and problematic AVRs or sources are easily resolved with EDID options available on the kit. EDID bypass and EDID copy simplify troubleshooting.    

Test Pattern Generation: Leave your Fox & Hound at the shop? 4K and 1080p test patterns aid in rapidly identifying connectivity or EDID problems. The TX and RX units separately generate patterns to verify infrastructure integrity and system signal pass-through.  

IR & RS232 Management: Infrared and RS-232 signals pass through the AC-EX70-444-KIT bidirectionally to effectively enable device control at each point. The Transmitter I-PASS port accepts a mono 3.5mm control system cable providing a secure connection for IR pass-through.  

Cascade Mode: Precision HDMI signal amplification and equalization enables “daisy-chaining” two AC-EX70-444-KITs in sequence, to augment transmission distance. Bidirectional power negates the need for a transformer mid-way where the kits join, as power applied to the source-end transmitter and the display-end receiver supplies the full circuit.
