8K, 48Gbps Support (FRL 6): High bandwidth signaling supplies plenty of headroom for current sources and is fully prepared to handle 8K signals from any device using the AC-EDID-X as a bridge.
EDID Management Made Easy: 16 different EDID settings, selectable via four DIP switches, including a User Copy option that reads and stores the EDID from the connected display. This range of presets enables systems with mixed-era technologies to maintain stable handshakes and consistent output — keeping your source and display in perfect agreement regardless of the signal chain.
Full HDR Support: As Hollywood becomes more adept at using HDR to augment storytelling, dynamic metadata in HDR content is pushing the color boundaries for compatible displays. AVPro Edge 8K devices repeat and passthrough HDR content retaining 100% of the fidelity in the signal. HDR, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced are no challenge for AVPro Edge image-handling circuitry, delivering full color volume and accurate tone mapping metadata to connected displays.
High Frame Rate compatibility: The AC-EDID-X supports 120fps with 4K or 1080p signals.
Additional HDMI 2.1a Features: Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Quick Media Switching (QMS), Quick Frame Transport (QFT), and Source Based Tone Mapping (SBTM) are supported by the AC-EDID-X.
